We have been having some crazy nice weather here in the Mid-South and Sunday morning we had a chance to get out and enjoy it. We picked up some donuts from our most favorite bakery and headed out to the park for a quick picnic and lots of playtime. It was such a nice treat from all the cold wintery weather we were becoming sort of accustomed to.
Now Jack has been out to the park before, but usually spent most of the visit sitting in his stroller. This was his first "real" visit and he was taking it very seriously. He had so much to get accomplished before the dreaded "5-minute" warning was given.
(this might be one of my very favorite pictures ever. maggie and lydia really adore their baby brother and this picture so nicely captures how protective they can be of him.)
